3D Smartphones To Debut in December

First we have 3D movies followed by 3D TV but both needs to wear special glasses to enjoy the effects. Very soon we would have 3D smart phones that do not require any glasses to enjoy three dimensional photos, videos and games.

Softbank Mobile of Japan will be launching a 3D capable Galapagos 003SH smartphone in early December this year and another model, 005SH in mid February 2011.

The phones run on Google's Android operating system, have a 3.8-inch LCD displays which enable users to take photos, play games and watch videos in 3D.

Ustream will be streaming live video for mobile 3D.

The Galapagos 003SH comes with a 9.6-megapixel CCD camera, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 400 MB of internal memory, WiFi, GPS and the ability to record 720p HD video.

The Galapagos 005SH has similar specifications, but comes with 512 MB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel camera, a compact QWERTY keyboard cover 4-way directional pad.

Both phones are produced by Sharp.
